This month’s country was Bahrain and we had a lovely host Joanne from What’s On The List. Joanna chose two great recipes! For the savory she chose the popular chicken Machbous and Halwa for the dessert. Sarah one of our members sent in this gorgeous photo of her finished halwa and let me know that she pretty much followed this recipe that Joanne gave us for an example.
She skipped the sesame seeds, used walnuts and allowed hers to settle in muffin cups. Whatever you did Sarah it looks amazing.
