4 Sheets Ready Made Puff Pastry
2 (200g Tubs) Ricotta Cheese
1 (500 gr) Box Frozen Spinach
1 Bunch of Fresh Spinach
1 Onion, Diced
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
2 Garlic Cloves, Minced
1 Egg, Whisked
Salt and Pepper
Black Seeds

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a two baking trays with baking paper.

2. Fry the onion, garlic and all of the spinach off in a frying pan with the olive oil, until all is cooked. In a large bowl stir the ricotta, spinach mix and egg together and season this well with salt and pepper.

3. Cut each sheet of pastry into four squares, place two spoonful’s of the mixture in the middle of each square. Bring two of the corners together, making a triangle pinching all edges of pastry together, followed by twisting the two bottom ends. Place each one on the baking trays, sprinkle with the black seeds. Bake in the oven for an average of 25 – 30 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Cool on a wire tray briefly before eating.

    Yummy! I love that you added spinach. I like the black seeds too (are they the same as nigella?), they look pretty!
